“I will let my body flow like water over the gentle cushions “ - Sappho
Please join us for a 14-hour restorative yoga training designed for yoga teachers and students, stress-management professionals, nurses, body-centered therapists, health and wellness practitioners, and all caregivers. Based on hatha yoga postures, the body is completely supported with props for deep rest and relaxation.
During the program you will learn the art and skill of
teaching restorative yoga, including a set of postures complemented by gentle stretching, breathing, and meditation.
Through direct experience, practice teaching, and feedback, you will leave the training with the ability to confidently teach a primary series of restorative poses to your students and incorporate them into your own practice.
Weekend schedule:
Saturday 9-5:00pm and Sunday 9-4:00pm
Marla Cantor has been practicing yoga since 1993 and teaching since 2001. She took her first restorative class in 2000 and fell in love with this restful and healing practice.
